The Pinery

Don't be fooled by these pictures, I don't love camping. Obviously the kids had a wonderful time and lake Huron is gorgeous but it's a lot of hard work and sleepless nights. We ended up fleeing our camp site in the middle of the night during a wicked lightning storm that scared the crap out of us. I think we were the only ones in the entire provincial park to do so. What can I say, we're light weights.
If you do love camping, the Pinery is the place for you. Amazing beach, clean and private campsites, wonderful amenities including restaurant, canoe rentals and kids programs. Maybe I will give it a second chance but not for a while.
